This is a legit punching bag. I had gotten something last year on Amazon that claimed to be one, but it was a "kiddie" one, meaning it was one of those that you inflate with an air blower, and you were supposed to fill the bottom part with water to keep it in place. Well, that was a complete waste of an order. When I saw this, I read the other reviews, and there were a few things that I noticed right away that I liked, the main thing being that the base is a hard plastic. This comes in two separate shipping boxes. I was a bit worried because I thought that they forgot to send the punching bag itself, but it came a few days later. The base is big, with a fill hole for the sand, and the underside has suction cups for anchoring to the floor - we have ours in our basement gym, which has concrete floors, so that won't work, but we installed them anyway because it'll work great for flat, smooth flooring surfaces. Also, attaching the bag itself on to the base was super easy as well. The bag is big, meant for an adult, and it feels like a foam cushion type of material. It's great, my kids were punching it nonstop, and my daughter wants her dad to get her boxing gloves.I purchased this for my nephew. Comment ~ "The Elevens Free Standing punching bag is Awesome! I've been looking to get into at-home boxing for a while, but I didn't want to hang a bag in my garage or workout space. This Bag has two methods of securing it to the ground. The first method is simply suction. It comes with (I believe 14-15) suction pads that screw onto the bottom of the stand. When you smack it down on the floor the suction cups stay put very well. I was kicking and punching the bag and was only able to get it unstuck from the floor one time. I was impressed, to say the least! The second method is to fill the stand with water. If you do this, I would recommend sticking a little chlorine in with the water to prevent any unwanted bacteria growth. When both of the methods are used, this bag does not move no matter how hard you punch/kick it. Maybe some better boxers will be able to do so, but I sure couldn't - haha! My only complaint is that the bag is just a little hard, but I believe it will soften up after some use! Overall, I give this 5 STARS! This ROCKS!I got this for my home gym since I didn’t know if my ceiling can handle the weight of a hanging punching bag. This punching bag turned out great. It came in two separate shipping box and it took me about 15 minutes to put together. Just need to connect the punching bag to the base. Pretty easy to assemble.I debated about putting sand, but end up using water for now so I can empty it out easier if I have to move it around. I read water can go bad fast but haven’t had an issue so far. I did dump a bunch of pennies into the reservoir since copper supposedly help. The base is pretty stable once the water was added.The spring is pretty heavy duty and give the punching bag nice stability without it being too springy. I’m pretty happy with it so far. Been working up a sweat in 10 minute sessions. Time goes by fast with some high beat music and it’s overall a fun exercise.This arrived ahead of time and it was already partially assembled based on the Amazon videos, so that was a plus. I used water with bleach to fill mine. Such an power without a secondary source, I'm not sure. Seems pretty sturdy. Looks nice pretty sleek. Punched and kicked it a few times and looking forward to using it!Easy to assemble, delivered as described, and a really good size for a smaller home. It is a little firmer than what I expected, so make sure you wrap your wrists well. Very pleased with the product and the quality makes me think it will last a very long time.This product is well packaged on the outside, and the inside is well packaged when I buy it. The details of the inside are very good, and the installation and fixing of the base is also very simple. After pouring in sand, it can be well fixed on the ground. I put it in the garage, this is a good practice boxing exercise, the leather wrap of the post is also very thick, it can be practiced for a long time without breaking.My son loves this heavy boxing bag,It delivered on time the day before my son’s birthday,He’s so surprised .Come with two separate boxes Easy to put them together .There are 12 strong suction cups and recommend sand to fill in the bottom .Good quality and sturdy.Happy to with it ,let him start workout at home.Don’t hit too hard…?
