Claire Chase Classic Men's Leather Messenger Bag - Black, One Size - Perfect for Work, Travel & Everyday Use

It is so hard to judge on-line the capacity of a bag and this one turned out to be too small for me, which was disappointing, but I do carry a lot of stuff. I am trying to replace my Territory Ahead Guy Stuff bag which is brilliant but whose main pocket is just fractionally too small to zip closed easily over my iPad in its case.The leather is soft and supple and I thought the overall quality was very good. Then I started to put my usual carry-arounds into it: iPad (no worries about the case - great!) and Kindle into the main pocket - OK, already getting heavy. Onto the organizer pocket with 2 phones (sleeve for each of these) but then my wallet, keys, flashlight (work parking lot is DARK at night), pen, earbuds, mains charging block and two USB cords (Apple and Kindle) have nowhere to live except in a jumble at the bottom of the pocket... uh-oh! And suddenly the front flap won't close on its magnetic snap, despite a magnetic snap the sleeve pocket on the front flap seems insecure, the zipped pocket on it's inside surface is small and also interferes with closing if it has more than a couple of post-its in it.As I said, it's a fine quality bag, and if I wanted to go without most of the stuff I like to have on me at all times it would work; however, for now it is back to old faithful...It takes a while to get used to all of this bag's pockets, and to decide what goes where, but once one is past that stage this bag is highly satisfactory. Mine holds my dumb cell phone, iPod Touch, iPad Mini, wallet, sunglasses, cards, change, keys, eyeglass cleaner, and assorted small odds and ends. The color is a nice brown, and the workmanship is excellent. My only complaints are minor: 1. The two parts of the main flap's magnetic catch are hard to match up, and 2. the strap can't be adjusted short enough for me (and at 6 feet I'm not a short person).Needed for traveling, my old bag is not big enough for my ipad.Leather is strong , i wish it had a higher quality leather not just thick .I have not used yet but it seems durable.A little big, but practical. The strap looked so light and cheap compared to the rest of it. I hope it lasts.
